Dropping school

I've made a monumental decision. I'm going to drop my classes until Fall of 2006. I called my mom to talk to her about it, and she agreed that it's a good idea. With Philip starting 1st grade, Melissa starting Kindergarten, and Amber getting more and more active every day, plus the pregnancy, work, and everything else that goes on in life, I need the break. I've been in classes of one sort or another CONSTANTLY since just before Rick and I met! And we celebrated our 2yr anniversary this past April.

I figure this way, I'll be able to relax more through the pregnancy. I'll also be able to do more with PTA, etc. for the kids' school this year, too. I hated not being more involved.

Now that I've made that decision, I feel much more relaxed! I'm going to be able to knit and have fun and not sit here dwelling over all the other stuff I *should* be doing all the time. :)

By Fall 2006, Philip and Melissa will be more established in the school. Amber will be about 2 1/2, so she'll be more vocal and easier to work with (in some ways). And the baby will be about 6 months old, so Things will be more settled there as well. It will still be online classes, so I'm not going to have to leave the home for anything, but my schedule will be much less erratic by that point.

I feel really good about this decision. It's just not right to spend time and money on school when I'm not giving it the attention I should - I can get excellent grades when I work at it, if I keep going now, my grades will be aweful.

Whew. I'm glad that's settled.
